The Chincoteague Natural History Association opens the lighthouse for tours from March through Thanksgiving weekend- opening date March 9, 2007. Funds collected from lighthouse entrance fees, the lighthouse gift shop items and donations are dedicated for lighthouse restoration. Volunteer greeters are needed upstairs and down to help at the lighthouse. Shifts are from 9-12 a.m. and 12-3 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
