In case you haven't heard, the year 2003 is the 100th birthday of the National wildlife Refuge system. To commemorate the occasion, a special edition of the National wildlife Refuge system calendar will be devoted to sharing the beauty and diversity of the nation's refuges and the people who enjoy them.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife service, in partnership with the North American Nature Photography Association, is sponsoring a "call for photographs." It is open to both professional and amateur photographers. Selected images will be used to create the special edition, commemorative National Wildlife Refuge System calendar in 2003.
