Upon entering the refuge or while perusing the Herbert H. Bateman Educational and Administrative Center (HHBEAC), you may come across a couple of new faces. Please take time to welcome Robert Meehan and Susan Janoski. Robert is the newest member of the refuge's permanent maintenance staff. His main focal point is on the maintenance and upkeep of the HHBEAC, exterior exhibits, and trails. He is also providing support, input, and expertise for the repair and maintenance of all other structures on the refuge. Robert has a wealth of knowledge in other areas including carpentry and construction. Susan is the newest addition to the Fee Collection Program. Susan and her family moved to Parksley from Michigan. Susan has extensive experience in clerical sales and customer relations. We are very excited to have both of them as a part of our staff. Please help us welcome them!
