The Eastern Shore of Virginia NWR is beginning Comprehensive Conservation Planning. This plan will provide guidance for management decisions and set forth strategies for achieving refuge purposes for the next 10-15 years.
The refuge will soon be mailing an issues workbook and holding public meetings for interested individuals (hopefully in early August). The workbook and meetings will give background information and provide an avenue for the public to give input to the process.
