[From Fall 1997]

New Staff Join the CNWR Team

Mr. Ray Paterra joined the refuge's public use staff on Monday, September 15, 1997, as an Outdoor Recreation Planner.

Ray joined Chincoteague Refuge after completing a public use internship at the Eastern Shore of Virginia National Wildlife Refuge. Ray was highly recommended to us and will be busy refining current public use programs, designing new educational activities, and assisting with special events and teacher workshops. Ray will also assist with staffing the Refuge Visitor Center.

Additionally, Tray Wiggins joined the refuge's public use staff on Monday, September 22, 1997, as a fall intern. Tray will conduct fall interpretive programs, assist in organizing the refuge's slide library, and help staff the Refuge Visitor Center.

Please stop by and introduce yourselves to the newest members of the public use staff.

Sheila Faith, who is no stranger to the Chincoteague NWR, will join the refuge biology staff as a fall intern. Sheila's knowledge of the refuge and it's resources will certainly benefit the fall biology program.

Angela Tracy,
Supervisory ORP
