[From Winter 1997-98]
Right along with the changing of the seasons, there's a new face at CNWR. Karen Pacheco recently joined the staff as a Refuge Operations Specialist on October 1, 1997.
Karen previously worked at the refuge during the summer of 1994 as a Co-Op Education Student and will now be coordinating volunteer activities as part of her duties.
Many opportunities to work with volunteers will present themselves over the coming months. If you haven't already done so, please feel free to drop by and introduce yourself.
